New items for sale
Sales have been profit so that is good news for everyone because then I can buy more new inventory!
Julie Olivett has been bringing me some of the nicest vestment jewelry in all price ranges. Rings, loads of monstrous pins, faux pearls, bracelets, rhinestones, etc.
I’ve purchased wholly a few vintage clothing items also since I’ve last posted.
Monday I was out shopping and found some awful 60’s and 70’s sleeveless dresses in the most awful patterns. Some have never been worn. I also picked up a 50’s brocade please that includes a pencil skirt and lovely cropped jacket with big cloth covered buttons. I also got a scrupulous full rockabilly skirt in a red bandanna theme and another 50’s silk dress with jacket.
All the jewelry boxes I had were sold last week to one patron so I am restocking. I found a very nice wood one thats looks like a unimportant dresser and Julie is bring more that she has in storage.
I have also recently put out some best 1940’s ads framed with various flick picture show stars and pin-ups.
That’s just a minute list of all I have brought to the store recently. People have been bringing me quite nice things to buy lately and Julie and I are constantly unearthing treasures.
Renovations on our current in sweet money pit continue. The new kitchenette ceiling is soon completed and all the initial upper shelves have been painted and the pantry wiring has been done.
Only those who have renovated an old house grasp the thrill of being able to finally be clever to flick on a switch and the room lights up!!!!!!!
We are now searching for the whole antique or at least antique looking lighting fixtures.
Ziggy is growing and is a bother. The biggest problem is keeping him unceremonious of mats. I swear if I didn’t keep after him he’d have dreadlocks within a week.
